What's a P. A. Day?

What's a P. A. Day?

P. A. Stands for Professional Activity.

The teachers and professors take workshops and lessons to help better their teaching. They sometimes look at students' files and marks for the next report card.

Sometimes teachers need a day to work on some stuff over at school or maybe redecorate the class.
On P. A. Days, students can go to the movies, bowling, skating and also community centres where they participate in parties and are entertained by magicians, dancers and other special groups.

At some schools, there is a P. A. Day trip beginning at 7:30am and operating until 6:00pm. Children are picked-up and dropped off at their school. They have to pay the program fee including transportation costs, entrance fees, supervision, breakfast, lunch and snacks.

So far, my children have had visits to the Ontaro Science Centre and Chuck E Cheese on P. A. Days.
